Heading home to Hawaii

Wow. What a great trip! Every performance was an exciting experience and an opportunity to meet new people. We made many friends, saw a few old ones and generally had a great time sharing our music and love of Hawaii with anyone we encountered.

Now it's time to head home. It's a long trip, but thanks to the Hilton Newark Airport (arranged by Hilton Hawaiian Village) we have a comfortable place to rest along the way. We arrive back in Honolulu on Tuesday evening. The next day we begin rehearsals for the next Honolulu Symphony Masterworks concerts. It will be hard to believe that the trip happened at all, but the proof is right here.

Thanks for checking out our Tour Blog. Stay tuned for more exciting adventures in chamber music!!

You have done a superlative job of documenting this incredible trip! It has been very entertaining, impressive and heart-warming to read about your concerts, experiences and ambassadorship. Great photos too! You have represented CMH, The Honolulu Symphony, Hawaii and the USA as well as could have been imagined. Looking forward to your return to the Aloha state! Safe travels! Norm

We're back! At least four of us, that is -- Marsha, Jim, Jonathan and Minou. Scott took an extra week to visit friends in Frankfort, Germany, and will be back around May 17. Sue will join her mother in Lithuania to visit relatives and then proceed to Italy. She will be away for a couple months.

The tour was an incredible experience. It is impossible to distill all my reflections immediately, but please return here to read more about the tour as we all have a chance to collect our thoughts.

Many thanks to all of you who supported and encouraged us.
